Live training program for school children and their parents on making green ganesha at home and guidance on how make use of clay post emmersion Online Ganesha Idol Making Activity was conducted by Rotary Club Pune Yuva and Smart Champs Academy, this is the 3rd year of the organization to conduct online activity. The material required for this was provided by free of cost. In this, 132 children and their parents participated together online. Mrs. Jyoti Deshpande guided everyone to make a beautiful idol of Lord Ganesha from Shadu clay, at this time Rtn. Satyajit Nigde, President of Rotary Club of Pune YUVA provided information about Rotary, various activities conducted by RCP YUVA and guided on importance of going green and preserving nature, Mr. Avinash Doifode, founder of Smart Champs, informed the children on how to make Lord Ganesha till how to immerse the idols and then what to make from Shadu clay throughout the year. Due to this activity conducted and children inform on ways of reusing the clay, we are avoiding 100% pollution and these initiatives will definitely benefit the present generation for overall development thus inculcating the habit of preserving nature and environment.
